Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Elevated Comfort Dining’s services and website. By booking an event or using our Services, you agree to these Terms.

Services Offered

We provide private chef services for events ranging from 2 to 20+ people, including family-style and plated dining options. Services include:

  • Menu planning and creation.

  • Culinary preparation and presentation.

  • Optional add-ons, such as wine pairings, extra dishes, or staff.

Booking and Payment

  1. Booking Fee:

    • A $200 non-refundable deposit secures your date and time.

    • This fee covers consultation and menu creation.

  2. Payment Terms:

    • Grocery costs are billed separately at market value.

    • Remaining balances (e.g., per-person menu rates, add-ons, and service fees) are due before the event date.

  3. Service Fees:

    • Additional charges may apply for equipment use, cleanup, or travel beyond 1 hour one way.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

We strive to deliver exceptional service. However, cancellations and refunds are subject to the following terms:

  1. Non-Refundable Booking Fee:

    • The $200 deposit is non-refundable.

  2. Late Cancellation Fee:

    • Cancellations within 7 days of the event may incur additional charges.

  3. Groceries and Pre-Paid Costs:

    • Refunds for pre-purchased ingredients or supplies are assessed individually.

Client Responsibilities

  • Providing accurate event details during booking.

  • Communicating dietary restrictions or special requests in advance.

Limitation of Liability

Elevated Comfort Dining is not responsible for any delays or disruptions caused by unforeseen circumstances (e.g., extreme weather, client delays). Our liability is limited to the fees paid for the affected services.
